SELLERS

How do I become a seller?
To sell on Shhhoes, you’ll need to complete our quick seller application and upload photos.

How does listing work?
After approval:

  • Provide details about your items and (optionally) your seller persona.
  • Shhhoes creates and manages your listing. Buyers never contact you directly.
  • When an item sells, you package and ship it to Shhhoes for inspection and processing before it reaches the buyer. Your personal address remains private.

Who pays for shipping and packaging?
Sellers purchase any required packaging locally (box, padding, tape). Buyers pay for shipping to them at checkout.

What are the fees and commissions?
A flat listing fee is applied when your item sells ($8 Standard, $23 Featured), plus a 15% commission on the sale. Featured listings provide additional visibility and perks. View full Fees & Commissions.

Do I get a credit for Featured listings?
Yes! Sellers who use a Featured Listing receive a $5 credit toward their next listing after the sale is completed.

Why are there fees?
Fees cover the work required to provide a private, secure, and curated marketplace, including:

  • Anonymisation of sellers and buyers
  • Platform moderation and support
  • Secure transaction and fulfilment processes

What is a Featured Listing?
A Featured Listing is an optional upgrade that provides:

  • Priority placement on the website
  • Inclusion in promotional packages
  • Limited availability to maintain visibility
  • $5 credit toward your next listing after sale

Is there a minimum listing price?
Yes. All items must meet a minimum listing price of $40. This ensures sellers are fairly compensated and helps maintain a safe, curated marketplace.

When do I get paid?
Payment is issued 1-2 business days after your item sells and is successfully shipped using Shhhoes’ inspection and fulfilment process.

Can I sell from outside Australia?
Currently, Shhhoes is exclusively for Australia-based sellers and buyers. This ensures smooth shipping, verification, and curation.

Do I need an account to browse?
Items can be browsed without an account. Purchases can be completed using guest checkout. Your personal information is always protected and never shared with sellers.

How do I purchase an item?
Select the item you’d like and checkout securely through Shhhoes.

Do I pay for shipping?
Yes. Shipping is calculated and paid for at checkout. Items are shipped discreetly by Shhoes. The sellers never see your name or address.

How is my privacy protected?
Shhhoes manages the sale and shipping to you. Sellers never see your personal details, and all orders are processed securely through our platform.

Can I return an item?
Returns are not generally accepted, though disputes will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact Shhhoes for guidance. All communications remain confidential.
